What information we collect

JargonShield only receives what you give us: the text you paste in and, if you choose to upload one, the photo of your document. We don't ask you to create an account, and we don't collect your name, email address or contacts.

How your document is processed

When you tap Translate, your text, photo or PDF is sent securely to the specialist processing provider that produces the plain-English explanation and red-flag warnings shown on screen. This means the provider processes the document on JargonShield's behalf. It is not used by JargonShield to advertise to you or sold by JargonShield.

Do we store or share your documents?

Your upload stays on your device until you tap Translate. It is then shared with our processing provider only to create your result. JargonShield does not build a document library or sell your document. Deep Scan payments are processed by Stripe, so JargonShield does not receive your full card details.

Your rights and choices

You stay in control: you can simply close the page and nothing is kept. If you have a question about your privacy, contact us at privacy@jargonshield.com. This tool is for education, so please avoid uploading documents with other people's sensitive details if you can.
